If you wish to appeal a short term rental accommodation decision,  please fill out the form below. There is a cost of $320 that will be required to be paid to the Township of Muskoka Lakes before the appeal can be processed. Once the appeal has been processed, the appellant will be notified via email of the date that the appeal will be heard which will be at the next regularly scheduled Appeal Committee meeting depending on the time that the appeal has been processed. The appellant will be required to attend the meeting to speak to the appeal and describe the reasons for the appeal. Any documentation that you wish to present at the appeal shall be sent to bylaw@muskokalakes.ca, further instructions on deadlines to submit documentation will be described to the appellant upon receiving their appeal hearing date.

DISLCAIMER: Your Appeal will not be processed until the appeal fee is received by the Township. Payment methods include cheques made out to ‘Township of Muskoka Lakes’, cash or debit accepted in office, or online banking payments (through your bank, add payee as Muskoka Lakes – Township – Other *be careful not to add the Muskoka Lakes Tax Account. Your account number will be STRA with no spaces or dashes followed by the property owner’s last name e.g., STRASMITH). Most banks only allow up to 13 characters for an account number so if your entire last name does not fit, simply enter as many characters as your bank will allow.
